The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Filipovic.
Loco avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Loco falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Filipovic to counter with a crisp jab.
Loco swings away with a body shot that misses
and Filipovic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A punch combination from Loco misses.

Loco throws a looping overhand right but Filipovic ducks down to avoid it.
Loco throws a poor cross that misses
and Filipovic counters with a three punch combo that has Loco backing up. Loco nods at Filipovic to acknowledge the strikes.

and Filipovic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Filipovic tries to stall but Loco uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Loco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Filipovic could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Loco punishes Filipovic's body with a nice straight punch.

Filipovic is breathing heavily.
Loco connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Mirco Filipovic has been cut.

Loco connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Filipovic momentarily.
Loco clobbers Filipovic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Filipovic gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Loco gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Filipovic is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
