PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sid Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pistol Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh comes to the cage accompanied by Amazing- Kanye West. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson gets a clinch.
Singh jumps guard but Robinson stands there with Singh around his waist. Singh gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Singh has gone for a leg lock! Robinson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Singh's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robinson cracks Singh with a big right hand but Singh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Robinson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Singh was covering up waiting for the punch and Robinson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Robinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Singh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robinson has managed to get both his arms back between Singh's legs - danger averted.

Robinson shoots in looking for a takedown but Singh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Robinson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Robinson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Robinson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Singh is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Robinson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Singh gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sid Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pistol Robinson.
Singh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Robinson walks away with a smile on his face. Singh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Robinson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Singh tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Robinson is in Singh's guard.
