Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Trip Kenzie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilfried Handel!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenzie pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Handel back to the cage. Kenzie follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Wilfried Handel has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Handel. Kenzie does a little dance to reset his feet.
Handel lands with a good body shot.
Kenzie moves away from the strike by Handel.
Kenzie shoots in and bounces Handel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Handel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kenzie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kenzie wants to stand but Handel is controlling his posture from full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Handel looking for a guillotine here but Kenzie defends easily.

Handel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kenzie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Handel's head.
Kenzie is looking to work some ground and pound but Handel has wrist control.
Kenzie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Handel striking off his back but it's not causing Kenzie any problems.
Handel looking for a guillotine here but Kenzie defends easily.
Handel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kenzie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kenzie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kenzie gets to his feet. Handel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kenzie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kenzie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kenzie looking to control but Handel is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kenzie breaks from Handel's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Kenzie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Handel is looking to escape.

A big strike lands for Kenzie! That's really hurt Handel and he's turned his back - Kenzie keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kenzie jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
