The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warringtonchovyan misses with a takedown attempt
and Davis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Abahackachimo Warringtonchovyan has been cut.
No luck for Warringtonchovyan with that takedown attempt.
Davis misses with a left hand

and Warringtonchovyan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Warringtonchovyan.
Davis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Warringtonchovyan is controlling him.
Warringtonchovyan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Warringtonchovyan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Davis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Warringtonchovyan, into his guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Warringtonchovyan has his foot on Davis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davis works his way back into a safe position though.

Davis gets to his feet. Warringtonchovyan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Marcus Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Warringtonchovyan shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but Warringtonchovyan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davis connects with a body shot that sends Warringtonchovyan's belly button to the back.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Davis drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Warringtonchovyan right on the button. Warringtonchovyan goes down! Davis follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Davis gets the win via TKO!
