Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doeuf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Doeuf missing with a left hand there. Sarai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Doeuf just misses with a punch to the body.
A big left from Doeuf misses.
Stephen Sarai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sarai shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Doeuf makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sarai is defended easily by Doeuf.
Sarai tries to move into range but Doeuf moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Doeuf is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Doeuf lands an elbow inside that Sarai shrugs off.

Still in the clinch, Doeuf scores with a nice short uppercut.
Doeuf wants to break free but Sarai has control.

Sarai postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Doeuf is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sarai, into his guard.
Doeuf wants to stand but Sarai is controlling his posture from full guard.
Doeuf trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sarai is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Doeuf is looking to stand up but Sarai won't let him.

Sarai has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Doeuf doesn't defend quickly enough and Sarai has managed to lock this one up! Can Doeuf escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sarai on a fantastic submission victory.
