Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Maia gets the takedown into side control.
Potter tries to buck Maia off but Maia is having none of it.
Potter wants to get back to his feet but Maia drags him back down.

Maia working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maia trying to control the action but Potter is working from the bottom.
Potter gets back to half guard.

Potter is looking for a sweep. Maia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Maia is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Maia is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Potter has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Potter tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Maia forces the positional change into back control.
Maia tries to keep control of the position but Potter is staying busy.

Potter manages to reverse the position and now he's in Maia's guard. Nice work there by Potter.

Maia controls Potter momentarily but Potter frees himself.

Potter drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Maia dives on top into guard.
Potter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Potter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Potter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maia defends it easily.

Maia postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Potter has his feet on Maia's thighs here. He's pushed Maia off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Maia screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
