These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mussolini connects with a body shot.
Mussolini throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vorenus counters with a straight right hand.
Mussolini moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mussolini shoots in looking for a takedown. Vorenus tries to sprawl out of it but Mussolini keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vorenus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vorenus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mussolini misses with a shot to the body
and Vorenus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mussolini's knee momentarily.
Vorenus throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Vorenus ducks under a wild hook from Mussolini.
Vorenus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mussolini.

Mussolini misses with an uppercut
and Vorenus counters with a nice leg kick.
Benito Mussolini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vorenus knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
