The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TexHuk throws a sloppy head kick and Abobo moves out of range easily.
TexHuk stuffs the takedown.
TexHuk moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Abobo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Abobo blocks a head kick by TexHuk.
TexHuk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
TexHuk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
TexHuk throws a sloppy head kick and Abobo moves out of range easily.
Abobo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
TexHuk throws a head kick that misses.
Abobo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Tank Abobo has been cut.
TexHuk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Abobo dives in and grabs TexHuk's left leg, looking for a takedown. TexHuk pushes down on Abobo's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Abobo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
TexHuk tries to land a leg kick but Abobo saw it coming and moves away.
TexHuk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
TexHuk looks gassed!
TexHuk lands with a slapping head kick.
TexHuk throws a head kick but Abobo moves out of range.
TexHuk fails with an attempt to clinch.

Abobo shoots in and gets a takedown into TexHuk's guard.

Abobo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Abobo seems to have locked his on tight now - TexHuk screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Abobo, as he picks up the win!
