Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Dillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dillan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kick Ass. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Dillan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Still!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Dillan.
Dillan circles away from the clinch attempt.
A big left from Still misses.
Dillan slips a jab from Still.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Still, right into the meat.
Still shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dillan as he avoids it easily.
Still fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dillan manages to avoid it.
Still lands a head shot.
Dillan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Still jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Still lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Still slips a jab and a cross from Dillan.

and Dillan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Still lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Max Dillan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Still scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matt Still seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Still tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dillan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Still misses with a straight left.
Dillan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Still tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dillan swivels and escapes.

Dillan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Still's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Still's back!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

No joy there for Dillan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Still lands with a nice combination. Dillan backs away looking to recover.
Still bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dillan's head.
Dillan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Still closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Still lands in his opponent's guard.
Dillan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dillan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Still on the ground.

Still thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dillan has his feet on Still's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Still lands a glancing blow to the side of Dillan's head.
Still uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dillan.
A decent looking cross lands there for Still.
Matt Still seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Still cracks a nice hook into Dillan's ribs.
Still lands with a good body shot.
Still fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dillan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The fighters circle momentarily. Still darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dillan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A lazy left from Still finds it's target.
A chopping leg kick lands by Still.
Still throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dillan on the side of the head.
Good exchange - Still coming out on top.
Dillan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dillan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Good leg kick by Still there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dillan ducks right into an uppercut from Still.
Still stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Dillan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Nice uppercut lands for Still. That snapped Dillan's head back.
The fight stays on the outside here - Still looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well Still has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
