Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr E (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo comes to the cage accompanied by Rough Rida. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mr E was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Aldo counters with a three punch combo that has E backing up. E nods at Aldo to acknowledge the strikes.

E moves into the clinch successfully.

Aldo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and E counters with a good, hard body kick but Aldo shrugs it off.
Aldo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and E counters with a low kick, right behind Aldo 's knee.

Aldo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as E walks away with a smile on his face. Aldo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mr E seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

E lands with a nice body punch.
E with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and E makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

E lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aldo backwards.

Aldo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. E just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aldo throws a right and a left that E avoids nicely.
E fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aldo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A frustrated look appears on Aldo's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Mr E comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
