The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShaughnessy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sheppard looks to land a combination but OShaughnessy avoids it well.
Tanner Sheppard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OShaughnessy tries for a takedown but Sheppard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sheppard misses with a kick to the body
and OShaughnessy counters with a shoot takedown. Sheppard fights it but they end up in guard.
OShaughnessy is fighting to break Sheppard's control of his arms but Sheppard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
OShaughnessy advances position into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OShaughnessy wants to control but Sheppard is keeping him busy.

OShaughnessy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sheppard is now in OShaughnessy's guard. A big mistake from OShaughnessy there, giving up the dominant position!

OShaughnessy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sheppard's guard.
Sheppard wants to stand but OShaughnessy is controlling the position.
OShaughnessy works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sheppard tries to roll over but OShaughnessy keeps him under control.
OShaughnessy frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
OShaughnessy wants to finish this one by submission but Sheppard is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from OShaughnessy.
OShaughnessy takes Sheppard's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Sheppard is in trouble.
