Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kai Diao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason MacDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diao comes to the cage accompanied by 半斤八兩. MacDougal is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Scotland the Brave. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diao scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A nice inside leg kick there by Diao. That's going to slow MacDougal down.
Diao fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and MacDougal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Diao drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Kai Diao has been cut.
Diao throws a head kick but MacDougal moves out of range.

MacDougal tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Diao smiles and moves away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diao lands with a kick to the temple. MacDougal shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

MacDougal is trying desperately to land a takedown but Diao is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for MacDougal.

MacDougal's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

MacDougal drops down looking for an ankle pick but Diao pulls his leg out and moves away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

MacDougal turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and MacDougal manages to end up in side control.

Let's hope that MacDougal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Diao is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by MacDougal.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kai Diao will probably get the nod.

That's time! Diao's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

MacDougal takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Diao fakes high and swings low for a body shot but MacDougal manages to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Diao, right into the meat.

MacDougal takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

MacDougal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Diao is trying to control MacDougal's posture but MacDougal avoids it.
Jason MacDougal has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diao, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
