Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Otto Grimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and john john Avillanoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avillanoza has chosen Metalica 1 as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimm looks to clinch
and Avillanoza counters with a stiff right hand.
Avillanoza is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Grimm is looking to clinch.
Grimm lands a nice shot to the body.
Grimm tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Avillanoza falls off balance throwing a combination
and Grimm counters with an outside leg kick.
Avillanoza on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Grimm. Grimm obviously looking to wear him down.
Grimm's corner calls for a 1-2. Grimm obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Grimm throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Avillanoza tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Grimm is in Avillanoza's guard.

The referee asks Grimm politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Grimm prefers to stall for the moment though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Good leg kick by Grimm there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Grimm lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Avillanoza takes a jab right on the kisser.
Grimm stuns Avillanoza with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Grimm fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Avillanoza has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Grimm shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Grimm was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
