Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aang Havatar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Aang Havatar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Havatar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Havatar stuns Wright with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wright swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Havatar is now in Wright's guard. A big mistake from Wright there, giving up the dominant position!

Wright escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Havatar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Havatar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Wright turns into him and now he's in Havatar's guard.

Havatar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wright's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
