The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noessler throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Evans counter with a right hand.
Evans misses with a takedown

and Noessler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Evans's guard.

Noessler gets to his feet. Evans looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Evans fails with the takedown

and Noessler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Noessler postures up and lands a big shot to Evans's brow.

Noessler gets to his feet. Evans looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Evans successfully pulls guard.
Noessler is stalling in the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Noessler makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Noessler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
