The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper closes this distance looking for a takedown but Edwards circles away.
Harper tries to clinch up
and Edwards counters with a straight right hand.

Edwards rushes Harper and presses him up against the cage.

Edwards's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Edwards avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Harper wants to clinch but Edwards slips to the side

and Edwards counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Harper's guard now.

Edwards throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Edwards throws his legs up looking for a submission but Harper uses it to pass to side control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Harper in particular looking to stall.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Edwards has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Harper doesn't defend quickly enough and Edwards has managed to lock this one up! Can Harper escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Edwards on a fantastic submission victory.
