Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mute Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Sotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tito Sotto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lock lands in his opponent's guard.
Sotto wants to stand but Lock is controlling the position.
Lock passes into half guard.
Lock will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lock lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lock wants to get back to his feet.
Lock prevents Sotto from standing back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Lock is going to stand back up.
Lock not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lock knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sotto on the ground.
Sotto is trying to stand back up but Lock is controlling him
Sotto gets full guard.
Lock prevents Sotto from getting back to his feet.
Sotto keeping moving, preventing Lock from controlling successfully.

Sotto kicks Lock off and gets to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Sotto. No joy for Lock on that attempt.
Jab, jab by Lock - just one landing.
A head kick by Lock misses
and Sotto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lock tries for a takedown but Sotto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lock is breathing heavily.
Sotto moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sotto walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lock drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sotto swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lock's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
