Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Japanese Carp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Zerguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carp comes to the cage accompanied by Turning Japanese. Japanese Carp could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bruno Zerguson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Zerguson!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carp throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zerguson's waist but Zerguson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carp off to one side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Zerguson misses with a few strikes there.
Zerguson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Carp misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Zerguson to counter with a crisp jab.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Zerguson!
Japanese Carp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zerguson throws a jab when Carp was well out of range.
Zerguson looks to land a combination but Carp avoids it well.
Carp misses with a takedown attempt
and Zerguson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carp is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Japanese Carp. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A telegraphed right hand from Zerguson misses the target.
Carp staying out of range there.
Carp fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zerguson sprawls well initially but Carp persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carp seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Carp throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Zerguson is looking to escape.
Zerguson is defending against the submission attempts here by Carp.

Zerguson has hold of Carp's hands but Carp slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Carp thows a huge punch but Zerguson dodges it nicely.
Carp drops an elbow to the side of Zerguson's head.
Carp stops Zerguson from getting back to his feet.
Zerguson looks gassed!
Carp takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Carp lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carp is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Zerguson is trying to escape and Carp transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Zerguson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Carp! Very nice indeed!
