The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Bhang - just one landing.
Bhang connects with an inside leg kick.
Bhang moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Turcotte moves away from the strike by Bhang.
Bhang misses with an uppercut
and Turcotte connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bhang tries a low kick but Turcotte avoids it.
Bhang Bhang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bhang throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bhang takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Bhang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Bhang wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Turcotte drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bhang dives on top into guard.

Good leg kick by Bhang there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turcotte wants to free his trapped foot but Bhang is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Bhang has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Turcotte is working away from the top position though.
Bhang is looking for a sweep. Turcotte is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Turcotte tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bhang knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Bhang is looking to stand up but Turcotte isn't so interested in that idea.

and Turcotte counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bhang throws out a loose jab but Turcotte uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bhang lands with an uppercut that bounces Turcotte off the cage and back into rage.
A clash of legs there as Bhang blocks the low kick.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bhang Bhang will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Bhang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turcotte swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bhang throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bhang lands a nice looking body shot.
Bhang swings for the body but Turcotte moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bhang. That's going to slow Turcotte down.
Bhang misses with a low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bhang.
Bhang throws a jab but it's blocked by Turcotte.

and Turcotte counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Turcotte drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bhang manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Turcotte has Bhang in his guard.

Turcotte has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bhang is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Turcotte.
Turcotte takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Dennis Turcotte has got the better of the ground game so far.
Turcotte tries to bench press Bhang off him but Bhang keeps the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Turcotte is trying desperately to improve position.
Turcotte is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bhang wants to control the pace but Turcotte is squirming around nicely.
Bhang lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Bhang has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Turcotte's face.
Turcotte sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bhang tries to clinch but Turcotte is having none of it.
Bhang throws a solid leg kick but Turcotte takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bhang.
Bhang is looking to clinch but Turcotte is avoiding it.
Bhang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Turcotte counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bhang won't be happy with that.

Bhang manages to get back to half guard.
Turcotte stops Bhang from getting back to his feet.
Turcotte has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bhang Bhang showed his dominance in that final round.
