Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Jade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rile Nokea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nokea takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Rile Nokea has been cut.
Nokea needs to keep his hands up - Jade had a free shot at his head there.
Nokea gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Jade counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nokea is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jade defends well.

Jade isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nokea stacks Jade on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nokea!

Nokea goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jade has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nokea but great work by Jade.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jade got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nokea has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jade has managed to get both his arms back between Nokea's legs - danger averted.

Nokea looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jade has picked Nokea up and slammed him! Nokea can't keep hold of the triangle and Jade manages to pass to side control!
