Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason MacAvon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyrki Pekka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekka on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Pekka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pekka showed some decent athleticism there.
Pekka is keen to just control but MacAvon is a slippery customer.

Pekka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. MacAvon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pekka.

Pekka is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But MacAvon has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from MacAvon!
