PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Russian Experiment III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Experiment III comes to the cage accompanied by Come To Daddy. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Wagner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Experiment III cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Wagner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Experiment III takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

and Experiment III counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wagner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Experiment III counters with a left to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wagner.

Wagner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Experiment III stuns Wagner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

The fighters are battling for position here. Wagner manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Wagner has his foot on Experiment III's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Experiment III works his way back into a safe position though.
