Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vad Velara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobber has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velara looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Velara keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jobber's head.
Velara connects with a couple of short punches.
Jobber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Velara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Velara counters with a single leg into guard. Jobber didn't expect that.

Velara postures up and lands a big shot to Jobber's brow.
Velara drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Velara seems to have locked his on tight now - Jobber screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Velara, as he picks up the win!
