The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilke throws a series of strikes that have Gracie backpedaling.
Lilke throws a combination that misses
and Lilke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lilke throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lilke.
Mike Lilke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lilke counters with a three punch combo that has Gracie backing up. Gracie nods at Lilke to acknowledge the strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lilke manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie fails with the takedown
and Lilke counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mike Lilke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gepetto Gracie.
Lilke is looking to land body kicks.

Gracie misses with a takedown attempt
and Lilke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gracie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Lilke circles away easily
and Lilke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The crowd cheers as Lilke lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gracie doesn't seem phased though.
Lilke lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie's head back.

Gracie is rocked!
Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Lilke finish him?
Lilke thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.
Lilke lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lilke's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lilke duly obliges.
Lilke dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie moves out of range as Lilke throws a body kick.
Gracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lilke is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gracie.
Lilke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lilke throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gracie.

Mike Lilke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lilke throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Gracie crashing down! Gracie tries to stagger back to his feet but Lilke just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Gracie asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
