Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Barkas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Sjoblom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hannibal Barkas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Sjoblom!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sjoblom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barkas's waist but Barkas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sjoblom off to one side.
Sjoblom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barkas is fending him off so far but Sjoblom persists. Nope, Barkas circles away and we're back to standing.
Sjoblom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barkas but Barkas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hannibal Barkas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Sjoblom.
Sjoblom shoots in but Barkas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Barkas works Sjoblom's body with a nice hook.
Sjoblom displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barkas throws out the jab.
Sjoblom shoots for a takedown but Barkas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Barkas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barkas lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barkas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sjoblom's guard.
Barkas is pressing down on Sjoblom's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sjoblom is holding on for now.

Barkas is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Barkas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sjoblom is just riding it out for now. Barkas eventually gives up the hold.

Barkas has an Americana. Sjoblom didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Barkas is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Barkas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
