Thompson has chosen Cruel Summer as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rick fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Thompson as Rick shoots in.
Rick with a poor takedown
and Thompson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Rick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rick misses with a low kick.
Thompson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Ricardo Rick has been cut.
Thompson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thompson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rick has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Thompson.
