The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone scores with a nice right hand.


It looks like Major Kiszely has been cut.
Stone tries to clinch up.
Kiszely throws a body punch but Stone moves out of range.
Kiszely will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kiszely throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Stone is looking for a sweep.

Kiszely shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side.
Stone throws a combination. Kiszely tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Stone does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Kiszely fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Kiszely persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Kiszely wants to pass the guard but Stone is defending well.

Stone kicks Kiszely off and gets back to his feet.

Kiszely shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kiszely slips a nice elbow through Stone's hands, connecting with Stone's forehead.

Stone pushes Kiszely away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kiszely gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Stone is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kiszely has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ground and pound from Kiszely seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Kiszely wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stone keeps working.
Stone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kiszely is controlling him well.

Kiszely throws a strike but Stone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Stone not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Stone wants to get up but he can't break Kiszely 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Kiszely has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
