Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Teaching You. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladimir Putin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Putin checks it well.
Putin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lee counters with an inside leg kick.
Putin dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Putin's head and hops out.
Lee throws a poor cross that misses
and Putin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Putin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lee connects with the punch.
Putin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Putin.
Putin misses with the ground and pound.

Putin has gone for a leg lock! Lee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Putin's guard.
Lee looking to sit in guard and control but Putin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lee is pulling down on Putin's head. It's preventing any offense from Putin, at least for the moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Putin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Putin's legs - danger averted.
Putin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lee defends well.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Putin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lee wants to pass the guard but Putin is keeping the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lee on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee is trying to maintain the position but Putin is very close to passing his half guard.
Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Putin is pressing down on Lee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lee is holding on for now.

Putin misses with a head shot. Lee uses the momentum to regain guard.

Vladimir Putin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Putin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lee gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Putin.
Putin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Putin scores with a jab to the jaw.
Lee misses with a lunging right hand
and Putin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Putin counters with a left and a right that stings Lee.
Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Putin misses the shot to the body.

Lee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Putin counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Lee counters with a low kick, right behind Putin 's knee.
Putin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Lee misses with a left hand
and Putin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
Lee manages to work his way to half guard, despite Putin's best efforts.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Putin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lee sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lee manages to work his way to half guard, despite Putin's best efforts.

Vladimir Putin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
