Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between MItch Bjukanon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fairley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjukanon darts in trying to clinch
and Fairley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fairley keeps the fight on the outside.
Bjukanon defending well as Fairley loads up on a big left hand.
Bjukanon shoots and misses

and Fairley counters with a single leg into guard. Bjukanon didn't expect that.
Fairley lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Fairley drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Fairley seems to have locked his on tight now - Bjukanon screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Fairley, as he picks up the win!
