The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alahuippa connects with a jab.
Thomas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Alahuippa did well to prevent Thomas getting side control.
Thomas is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Alahuippa turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Thomas off and cradles Alahuippa's limp body as Thomas celebrates with his corner.
