Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ali Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kolt Kannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Kannon misses the target.
Kannon takes a swing at Fernando 's ribcage but misses.

Kannon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kannon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fernando on the side of the head.
Kannon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Fernando jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kannon manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Fernando tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fernando has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kannon is not content to let Fernando control the position.

Fernando is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kannon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
