and Power counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Power tries to bum rush Novotny with a series of wild strikes but Novotny uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Max Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Power moves to clinch but Novotny breaks away
and Novotny counters with a series of strikes. Power will be more careful next time no doubt.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Max Power hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Power closes the distance but Novotny moves to the side

Power bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Novotny's guard.
Power must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Power has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
