Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aimo Mojaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rui Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Mojaus to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva throws a combination that misses
and Mojaus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mojaus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mojaus.
Silva tries to bum rush Mojaus with a series of wild strikes but Mojaus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mojaus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mojaus on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Silva staying out of range there.
Mojaus throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Silva lands a body shot.
Mojaus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mojaus cracks Silva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A jab lands there for Mojaus.
Mojaus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Silva closes the distance and pushes Mojaus back into the cage.
Silva misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mojaus is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Mojaus looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Silva is trying to drag Mojaus to the mat but Mojaus just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mojaus is pressed up against the cage. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mojaus down to the mat. Mojaus avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Silva closes the distance and pushes Mojaus back into the cage.

Mojaus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mojaus scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Rui Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mojaus fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Mojaus uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Mojaus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mojaus thumps Silva with a low kick.
A jab from Mojaus does it's job there.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Aimo Mojaus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rui Silva.
Silva gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mojaus.
Mojaus connects with a right that clearly hurt Silva. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Mojaus proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Silva collapses and taps out under the pressure!
