The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards with a nice cross.
Richards ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Richards feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kelohas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Kale Keloha has been cut.
Richards scores with a nice right hand.
Richards decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Keloha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Richards thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Keloha's head.
Richards stops Keloha from getting back to his feet.
Keloha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Richards on the ground.
Richards thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Richards not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Richards prevents Keloha from improving his position.
Keloha is looking to control Richards's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Keloha avoid being mounted?

Keloha kicks Richards off and gets back to his feet.
Richards connects with a crisp jab.
Richards works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Richards throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Keloha takes a kick to the side of the head.

Richards scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kale Keloha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Keloha takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Richards scores with a jab. Keloha acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kale Keloha's cut is getting worse.
Keloha misses with a right hand
and Richards counters with a thumping low kick.
Keloha is breathing heavily.
Richards throws a leg kick which misses Keloha's front leg but catches the back leg as Keloha tries to avoid it.
Richards ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Richards scores with a jab to the jaw.
Richards has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Richards connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Keloha's hands.
Richards is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Keloha had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Richards lands a head kick. Keloha smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kale Keloha's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
An inside leg kick lands from Richards.

Richards lands with a shot to the body.
Keloha gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Richards lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Keloha sprawling to the canvas. Richards follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Keloha hang on?
Jeez, Kale Keloha's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Richards lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Keloha quite badly. Keloha pulls Richards in close trying to recover. Richards postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Keloha on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Keloha doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
