Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Andrews looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Andrews has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mitchell.

Mitchell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Andrews if he has to take too many more of those.
Andrews chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mitchell can pounce on him.
Mitchell is looking to wear down Andrews with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Mitchell fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Andrews has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Andrews's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Andrews lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Andrews changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mitchell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Andrews is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mitchell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mitchell manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Andrews is looking for a kimura but Mitchell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Andrews to get the leverage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mitchell makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mitchell.

The crowd cheers as Andrews lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mitchell doesn't seem phased though.
