Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns throws a sloppy head kick
letting Zorich counter with a right hand.
Burns closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zorich did well to prevent Burns getting side control.
Burns trying to pass the guard but Zorich defending well.
Zorich works his way to full guard. Good work.
Zorich is pulling down on Burns's head. It's preventing any offense from Burns, at least for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burns trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Zorich manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Zorich wants to pass the guard but Burns is keeping the position.

Burns thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Zorich is stalling in the full guard.

Zorich passes Burns's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Zorich seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Zorich slips a nice elbow through Burns's hands, connecting with Burns's forehead.
Burns is looking for a sweep. Zorich is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zorich takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zorich is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Burns has hold of Zorich's hands but Zorich slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Burns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zorich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zorich scores with a big shot! Burns's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Burns! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
