The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvela misses with a jab to the body
and Ardonia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Juhani Jarvela has been cut.
Jarvela looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Ardonia moves into the clinch.

Ardonia jumps guard and drags Jarvela to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jarvela might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ardonia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jarvela gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ardonia pulls Jarvela in to control the position.
Jarvela wants to control from the top but Ardonia keeps moving.
Jarvela has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ardonia seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Jarvela won't allow Ardonia to sweep him here.
Ardonia is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jarvela avoids a punch combination nicely.

Jarvela misses with a combination
letting Ardonia counter with a right hand.
Ardonia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jarvela moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ardonia is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Jarvela hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
