Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnera throws a leg kick but Overell sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Carnera misses with a leg kick
and Carnera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Carnera misses with a body shot.
Overell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carnera as he avoids it easily.
Carnera drops Overell with a beautiful combination! Overell stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carnera is looking for the KO!
It looks like Roger Overell has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carnera sends Overell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carnera is motioning to the referee to let Overell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Overell is rocked!
A swing and a miss from Carnera.
A head kick misses from Carnera.
Carnera throws a nice looking combination but Overell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carnera throws a right and a left that Overell avoids nicely.
Carnera misses with a wild combination.
Overell has a takedown stuffed.
Overell tries to clinch but Carnera is having none of it.

Carnera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Overell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Carnera throws a head kick that misses.
Overell throws a sloppy head kick and Carnera moves out of range easily.
Carnera misses with the combination.
Overell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Overell is defended easily by Carnera.
Primo Carnera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Overell.
Overell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Overell misses with a jab to the body
and Carnera counters with a left to the body.
Overell looks gassed!
Overell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carnera circles away.
Carnera misses with an uppercut. Overell saw that one coming.
Overell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Carnera fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Overell moves out of range as Carnera strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Overell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Carnera throws a series of punches but Overell moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Overell or perhaps it was just good defense by Carnera which made him look bad.
Overell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Overell there as he acknowledges the shot.
Carnera thuds his right hand into Overell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Roger Overell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overell blocks a head kick by Carnera.
Carnera pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Carnera listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carnera throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Overell colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Carnera as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Overell is left battered and dazed whilst Carnera and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Primo Carnera!
