Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kris Kringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Weeks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kris Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Weeks!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kringle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Weeks counters with a straight right hand.
Weeks looks to land a combination but Kringle avoids it well.
Weeks looks to clinch

and Kringle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Weeks's guard.
Kringle postures up.
Kringle trying to control but Weeks is working from the bottom.
Weeks can't keep his opponent in guard - Kringle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Weeks keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kringle is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Weeks wants to control but Kringle is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Weeks is nestled in close to Kringle, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Weeks throws a strike but Kringle avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Weeks seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Weeks winds up and cracks Kringle with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Weeks looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kringle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kringle has hold of Weeks's hands but Weeks slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Weeks is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kringle wants to sweep but Weeks has passed to side control!
Kringle is breathing heavily.
Weeks lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kringle down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Weeks thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kringle is not content to let Weeks control the position.
Weeks wants to take a breather but Kringle manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Weeks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kringle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Weeks sprawls well. Weeks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kringle gets slowly back to his feet.

Weeks moves into range and clinches up with Kringle.

Weeks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Weeks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Weeks thumps Kringle with a low kick.
Weeks misses with a few strikes there.
Weeks fails in his attempt to clinch.

Weeks shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Weeks showed some decent athleticism there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Weeks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kringle manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Weeks lands a couple of elbows.
Weeks throws and elbow that misses. Kringle uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Weeks's guard. Nice move by Kringle!

Weeks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kringle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Weeks is tightening it up a little... Kringle has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kringle reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kringle taps out! nice BJJ there by Weeks!
