Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Evans will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Evans!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a right and a left that both miss.
Evans closes the distance looking to clinch
and Evans takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Evans falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie counters with a straight right hand.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Evans counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Evans.
Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gracie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Evans gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Evans ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Evans no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Evans dives on top into guard.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Evans defends it easily.
Gracie has a closed guard, preventing Evans from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Evans wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Evans is forced to tap!
