Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Rover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rover might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Not Afraid-Eminem. Tyler Rover could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marcelo Garcia's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rover misses with a combination
and Garcia counters with a nice uppercut.
Garcia staying out of range there.
Rover misses with a double jab
and Garcia counters with a stiff right hand.
Rover throws a jab but it's blocked by Garcia.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rover!
Garcia moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Rover shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Garcia eats them both and turns towards Rover to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Garcia takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rover misses with a double jab
and Garcia counters with a nice body kick.
Rover lands a lovely overhand right.
Rover uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garcia.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rover looks like he's trying to stand up.

Garcia is working for a kimura but Rover is defending it quite comfortably.

Rover knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garcia on the ground.

Garcia looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Garcia throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Garcia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rover keeps working.

Rover kicks Garcia off and gets back to his feet.

and Garcia counters with a big head kick but Rover shrugs it off.

Garcia ducks right into an uppercut from Rover.
Rover slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Garcia makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rover really felt that one!
Rover uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Garcia counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rover's guard now.

Garcia drops back looking for a leg! Rover is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rover manages to kick Garcia off! Garcia jumps back into Rover's guard.
Garcia won't allow Rover to get back to his feet.

Garcia stands and throws Rover's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rover is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Garcia asserts his dominance and retains side control.
