Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Hand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Stanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joey Stanton was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hand swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stanton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hand throws a body kick the misses
and Stanton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hand misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stanton shoots in but Hand avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Stanton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We're going to have a standup here because Heavy Hand wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Stanton dives in and grabs Hand's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hand pushes down on Stanton's head and hops out.

That was a close round but I would say that Heavy Hand will probably get the nod.

Stanton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hand scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Stanton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hand.
Hand tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hand misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stanton avoids the head kick by Hand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hand stalks Stanton and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stanton's face. Stanton staggers backwards, shaken.

Stanton misses with a takedown attempt - Hand sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hand throws a sloppy head kick and Stanton moves out of range easily.
Hand scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Stanton shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hand napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hand can't do much from the bottom here.
Hand parries the strikes from Stanton easily there. Stanton is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hand to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stanton throws a strike aimed at the side of Hand's head but Hand avoids it well.

Stanton is looking to take a break and control but Hand is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Stanton sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hand is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Stanton throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Hand is trying to control Stanton's posture but Stanton avoids it.
Stanton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hand keeps working.

Stanton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stanton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hand pushes Stanton off looking to stand but Stanton dives back in and keeps control.

Hand has one foot on Stanton's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Stanton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hand sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stanton somewhat.

That's time! Hand's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Stanton is trying to push Hand away but Hand has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hand tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stanton avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hand tries to throw a body punch but Stanton avoids it by throwing Hand back against the cage.

Stanton is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hand pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Stanton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hand tries to break free but Stanton pushes him back against the cage.

Hand tries to land a front kick but Stanton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Hand moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Stanton is still on wobbly legs! Can Hand finish him?

Stanton backs away from a small jab...but Hand lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Stanton crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Hand with a spectacular finish!
