Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho needs to keep his hands up - Thompson had a free shot at his head there.

Thompson looks to land a combination. Ho sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Ho shoots in looking for a takedown but Thompson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ho's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Ho takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Thompson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Thompson feints a jab promting Ho to slip. Thompson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ho slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Thompson counters with a three punch combo that has Ho backing up. Ho nods at Thompson to acknowledge the strikes.

and Thompson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ho takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Phillip Thompson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A punch lands to the side of Ho 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Ho creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Thompson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Thompson is not content to let Ho control the position.
The referee asks Ho politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ho prefers to stall for the moment though.

Check out the look on Ho's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Thompson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Thompson throws out a loose jab but Ho uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thompson cracks Ho with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Thompson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Ho's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Thompson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ho scrambles back to his feet.

Ho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thompson was covering up waiting for the punch and Ho finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ho content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Ho is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Thompson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

A close second round but Noah Ho will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thompson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Oh Thompson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
