The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phanthom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Phanthom wants it to stay on the feet.

and Hrenovich counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Phanthom is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Hrenovich counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Phanthom is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Phanthom gets full guard.
Hrenovich tries to free his leg and advance position but Phanthom is retaining full guard.
Phanthom wants to sweep here but Hrenovich controlling him for the moment.
Phanthom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hrenovich manages to get himself to full guard.

Hrenovich is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Phanthom trying to control the position from guard on top but Hrenovich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hrenovich is on top in guard.
Hrenovich lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Phanthom wants to stand but Hrenovich is controlling the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Phanthom controls Hrenovich momentarily but Hrenovich frees himself.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by George Phanthom.

Phanthom stuffs the takedown attempt from Hrenovich. Hrenovich gets slowly back to his feet.

and Hrenovich counters with a nice double leg into side control. Phanthom won't be happy with that.
Phanthom looks gassed!

Hrenovich is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Phanthom is trying to escape and Hrenovich transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Phanthom is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hrenovich! Very nice indeed!
