Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quagmire is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Giggity Song by Glen Quagmire. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Quagmire. Roberts does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Quagmire counters with a leg kick.

Quagmire looks to throw the jab but Roberts is out of range.

Quagmire feints and then cracks Roberts's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Roberts down.

Quagmire pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Roberts back to the cage. Quagmire follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The fighters circle momentarily. Quagmire darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Quagmire takes the fight into the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Quagmire stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Quagmire jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roberts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quagmire tries to avoid it but Roberts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quagmire to the ground. Quagmire escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
