Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucius Vorenus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Animal Mother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mother has chosen God of Thunder - Kiss as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vorenus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mother under the eye.

Vorenus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mother's guard.

Vorenus has control of Mother's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mother regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Vorenus swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mother is now in Vorenus's guard. A big mistake from Vorenus there, giving up the dominant position!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Vorenus here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

We're going to have a standup here because Lucius Vorenus wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Vorenus counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mother is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Animal Mother is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vorenus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mother's waist but Mother gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vorenus off to one side.
