Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Royer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Dye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Royer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ..... Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dakota Royer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Dye!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dye misses with a leg kick
letting Royer counter with a right hand.
Royer checks a leg kick.
Dye misses the shot to the body.
Royer just misses with a punch to the body.
Royer misses the jab.
Dye tries to clinch but Royer is having none of it.
Royer getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Cameron Dye has been cut.
Royer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dye wants to clinch
letting Royer counter with a right hand.
Dye tries to clinch up
and Royer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Royer keeps the fight on the outside.
Royer lands a jab to the nose.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dye tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Royer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dye wants to clinch but Royer slips to the side
and Royer counters with a nice uppercut.

Dye is rocked!
Royer moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Royer swings widly with a right hand
and Dye counters with a nice body kick.
Dye tries to clinch but Royer moves away
and Royer counters with a nice uppercut.

That has opened up Cameron Dye's cut even more.
Dye does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dye steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Royer.
Dye throws a lazy head kick
and Royer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dye looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Look low, kick high! Royer uses the oldest trick in the book to send Dye tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Royer is absolutely delighted - when Dye wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
