Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistar Oberream (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aleksander Putin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oberream's jab looks to have found its range, popping Putin under the eye.
Putin throws a one two combo.
Oberream throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oberream thuds a left hand into Putin's body.
That kick from Putin tenderised Oberream's leg. Oberream is trying to keep his angry face on.
Putin tries to score with a low kick but Oberream moves his leg out of the way.

Oberream looks to land a left hand but Putin moved out of range nicely.
Putin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Putin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oberream was well out of range. Poor timing from Putin.

A slapping body kick lands there for Putin.
Oberream ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Putin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Oberream clinches with his opponent.
Putin jumps guard but Oberream stands there with Putin around his waist. Putin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Putin fails to pull guard.
Putin misses with a hook to the ribs.
Oberream tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Oberream throws a head punch that misses.
A right handed body shot lands from Oberream.
Oberream lands an uppercut.
Putin is trying to drag Oberream to the mat but Oberream just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Alistar Oberream has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksander Putin.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Oberream.

Oberream escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Putin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Oberream is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Putin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Oberream is looking to defend but Putin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Oberream! Putin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Oberream taps out and this one is all over!
