Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bret Fergieson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quik Yin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yin has chosen I Got A Feeling (lol :P) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bret Fergieson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quik Yin!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Yin.
Yin works to advance to full mount. Fergieson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Fergieson tries to hold on but Yin pushes him away.
Yin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fergieson is looking to get to half guard.

Yin is looking to work his way around to Fergieson's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Fergieson is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Yin has taken his back.
Well, with Yin on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Fergieson is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fergieson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fergieson has Yin in his guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Yin missing with a left hand there. Fergieson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

You can see the frustration on Fergieson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Yin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fergieson manages to get himself to full guard.

Fergieson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Let's hope that Yin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
