Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doug Lowbrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takanori Gomi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gomi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lowbrow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gomi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lowbrow somewhat.
Gomi throws a right and a left that Lowbrow avoids nicely.
Lowbrow shoots in and gets a takedown into Gomi's guard.
Lowbrow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lowbrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gomi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lowbrow is working hard here to advance position.
Gomi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lowbrow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lowbrow wants to control from the top but Gomi keeps moving.
Lowbrow won't allow Gomi to sweep him here.

Lowbrow has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gomi defend it? Lowbrow steps over the head and cranks it - Gomi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lowbrow!
